Igloo Village Kakslauttanen

The Igloo Village at Kakslauttanen, Finland is located in the Urho Kekkonen National Park and houses 20 glass igloos, 60 beds in snow igloos and a glass kota (a tradtional Lapp teepee). The igloos are made from a specialized thermal glass allowing for a standard temperature inside and a frost free view of the sky above. The Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis are some of the best in the Arctic Circle due to the sparse trees and lack of light pollution.
