Ahhhh, Sevilla. I have found another European favorite in Spain. The capital of Andalusia, this cosmopolitan city with strong Moorish heritage lays in the banks of the Guadalquivir River. I found the city easy to navigate, very friendly and clean, with many locals who easily spoke English and were visitor friendly. It stole my heart, right up there with Bordeaux in France. On my first afternoon there, I sat at a local cafe that had this view and sipped on hot chocolate while eating churros and enjoying the colors of the many bitter orange trees found throughout the city. Fun fact: There are about 30,000 orange trees in the streets and gardens of Sevilla.
