Local Baltimore street artist NETHER painted this memorial for SMASH.

RIP SMASH aka T-MAC.
1981-2013

Terrell Taylor aka Smash T-Mac was major on the Baltimore music scene. He was probably best known for the single “A Bit Too Much for Me”.

NETHER explains the meaning in this piece:
The house on the left is 2100 Hollins St, the house that Smash lived when he was young (now demolished). The house on the right was his last residence, 1900 Fredrick Avenue, which is on the same block as the mural. The tattoos below his eyes are of a spade and a "BH" standing for the intersection of W.Baltimore Street and Hilton Street which is where he hung out. Above his left eye is the text "Love is Pain".
