You very rarely see the residents of Havana in the restaurants in Cuba. The restaurants are generally targeting tourists, have very tourist oriented menus, and have much higher prices from the restaurants that the locals frequent. Rio Mar is one of the tourist restaurants. We sat out on the deck overlooking the ocean, and had delicious mojitos, ceviche and fish. 100% of the restaurants serving tourists--at least the ones we visited-- serve mojitos as the starting cocktail.
