The Giant's Causeway

The Giant's Causeway was formed by volcanic activity approximately 50 millions years ago, and consists of over 40,000 polygonal columns up to 39 feet tall.

The legend of the place says it is the remnants of a bridge built by Irish giant Fionn mac Cumhaill, and that the bridge was destroyed by a rival Scottish giant, Benandonner, as he ran away in fear, avoiding a fight.
