Where I became a reader

Every day after school, and a lot of weekends, I went to the Kinnelon library to read. Two of the librarians, Pat Hill, and Mrs. Shattuck, were always there to greet me and help me. I loved the library! Every summer I participated in the reading challenges, and they even let me help sort the books for the annual book fair (and let me take home whichever books I wanted, which resulted in an enormous and amazing library -- for a 10 year old). Oh I spent hours there!

After I went away to boarding school I'd sometimes come back and they'd say, "Circulation's back up!"

Here's a picture of the front desk, like I remember it.
