Colorful Christ the Redeemer

Christ the Redeemer welcomed the 32 participating teams in the 2014 World Cup to Rio with a special colorful light show. The colors from the flags of each nation were projected onto the statue synced with their respective national anthem. This sight looped roughly for an hour and a half before ending with Brazil's National Anthem and yellow and green color scheme, which remained projected throughout the night.

Lightshow on Arcos da Lapa

The Arcos da Lapa, which is an aquaduct with beautiful arches in the center of Rio de Janeiro, received a special COLORFUL light show in honor of delivering the monument to the locals as it has undergone a revitalization for 60 days. In honor of the World Cup, the arches were lit with the colors of participating countries.

I love me a good light show!
