Don't take very hot showers. Hot showers may feel great to you, but they can make your skin irritated. Limit your hot showers if you have eczema. Instead, set the water at room temperature. Clean your skin with a gentle cleanser and moisturize afterwards.
Get a humidifier if you have eczema. Dry air especially during the winter can cause dry skin which in turn causes eczema. With a humidifier, moisture is pumped into the air. This make it less likely that your skin dries out and that eczema flares up.
