Here's a picture taken during a recent stag weekend in Bucharest, when we were enjoying some early evening beers outside at a bar in the city's old town. The old town isn't really as old as it used to be. Lots of rebuilding took place during the Communist era and, although the tight, winding streets remain, look up and there are an awful lot of concrete blocks, complete with an inevitable air conditioning unit outside every window.
This was some local beer which was cheap and plentiful, however. And nobody goes on a stag weekend for the architecture.
