Kuta market place

Balinese make offerings for the gods every day. Offerings are gifts, typically small baskets made of banana leaves filled with flowers, and they can contain a bamboo skewer with fruits or flowers. The Kuta market place is a farmer's market, where you can buy fresh food, but I loved visiting it to see the baskets full of flowers meant for offerings. The women sit on the ground making offerings, and locals can either buy just the flowers or the offering baskets as they are starting their day.
