Now I can't believe we almost didn't go just because we had an early wake up the next morning. But seriously, salsa dancing classes, sunset, margaritas - what's not to love on a Sunday night? The Oasis on the lake had grown so much the past ten years, and the completely redone Oasis Texas Brewing Company now hosts several restaurants, shops, and yes, their own brewing company. The live salsa music invites you to dance, and the skill levels of the dancers are everything from very intimidating to embarrassing (not just me, I swear). The best is when the sun starts setting and the golden hour bathes the lake and the decks of Oasis and people just enjoy the sun as it goes down the horizon. We went with the kids and with our relatives, and they said it was one of the safest places to bring the kids and experience the Latin dance culture. I highly recommend it for dancers of all ages.
Oh, and get the tables by the balcony for the view, but the rumor goes that the food isn't really that great, but the nachos are pretty much the best on the list. The cocktails were good too.
