I think I must of died and went straight to wine and food heaven when I visited this place. When we were driving up the dusty road past the premature vines, I was sure we were just in for another wine tour of yet another boutique winery. BUT NO!
Family ran and owned, this beautiful vineyard is a must visit for any romantics, wine lovers or seeker of authentic experiences.
We were shown around the vineyard on a brief tour which was interesting since it is a relatively new vineyard. But the highlight of the day was yet to come. Handed a hand drawn map and armed with the cutest picnic baskets ever we set off in search of our lunch spot! And WHAT A LUNCH SPOT!
If you want to impress your loved one, this 35 Euro pp experience will surely tick the box.
We devoured the freshest local products I think I have ever eaten. Cheese, meats, breads and a potato tart was delicious, paired with some of the vineyards home grown wine.
Nothing can top this experience, especially if you get sunshine. The views over the vineyards and surrounding hills are breath-taking.
